Catching Fire... By Juliana
First of all, the funniest nickname to me was in fact “Jelly” from Angela. Thank you for all of the choices.

So I know that in the past, therapy hasn’t been my favorite, but not everyone feels the same and I have been told it helps I guess even if I don’t like it.  Some therapies are also very expensive and my mom said insurance doesn’t cover everything. I know that I had a lot of help. I don’t really know what I would do otherwise. Well there is someone that I want to help and I was trying to figure out how.  Since people say they like my paintings and want to know when I will sell some I had an idea … I’m gonna auction off a painting of mine to the highest bidder and the funds will go directly to Sojourn Therapeutic Riding but for someone ELSE to have therapy WOOOHOO!! I hated riding but probably wouldn’t have liked it before BUT hey, to each their own. The people are really nice and lots of people say it helps so why not help someone else can benefit from it? AND if anyone cares Sojourn is horseback riding and my little sister works there!! Would it help if I said please? If so, then “please”! So: you offer up the dough, I offer up the painting, and we give that money to Sojourn, so someone else will get to take lessons there because I know they will like it better than I did!  We are all great!  The painting I am auctioning is the picture above and its called “Catching Fire” BUT if you buy it you can rename it, like adopting a puppy! This auction will end next weekend lets say Saturday at noon.

Juliana, I have not been able to check out this site in a long while. I have been incredibly busy, and I'm sorry for that. However, The last time I was here, your mom was writing blogs... and now it is you - I think that that is incredible. You're painting is beautiful by the way :)

Much Love,
Will

Loves it! Wish I could bid. :( You are doing a great thing. Funny and random thing...I usually read your blogs from my phone while laying in bed before I fall asleep, and used to read your mom's at the same time. Well after I read your last blog the other night I had a dream about you! You were talking so beautifully I kept thinking "what was her mom TALKING about - speech therapy??? She has a beautiful and clear voice!" So here's to dreams coming true! (And so many times they have.) Xo

Thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity. You know, Juli, we could provide a carriage ride ;D You might not like riding on top of a horse; however, we could arrange a relaxing carriage ride with our Class B mini, Chance! It's a whole different experience - not at all like under saddle:) Again, thank you so much. You are a lovely young lady and I'm so glad our paths have crossed.

I'm sorry, but this blog doesn't sound like Juliana. She has a fun, silly sort of personality (from her page) that seems to be disappearing, and I see only traces of it in this blog. Seems to me someone is editing it and I would much rather see Juliana's typos and such than to read someone else's ideas of how Juliana feels and thinks, or even just corrected grammar, etc. I am sure that the intent is good, but we love her AS IS, no editing required. Thanks for listening.

you don't know my sister ya she is funny and silly but she is way funnier than she was before and it makes really mad that you would say that kind of thing and sorry if you feel that way but you are wrong. everyday juli writes and fix thing just for you guys to read and laugh and I read her the blogs ever time they are posted and as soon as there is one that is kind hearted and sweet thing, you speak out!!!! that's unfair. I hope you realize how stupid that comment was!!

Hi, I'm a friend of Juli's that visits at least once a week. I've seen Juliana typing out some parts of the blog when I come over. I do know that she spends extra time to make each sentence perfect here, whereas on her facebook page, she quickly types out her messages in the allotted time she has available at the computer. Anyone who knew Juli before her accident knows that she was an excellent speller and writer. Even now, when asking her to spell something that we can't understand, she is a stickler to getting each letter correct. I'm sure you meant no offense, but I know that this blog means a lot to Juliana. She really deserves all the credit for everything written here.

My apologies Miss Juliana. You don't know me personally, I have just followed your story since AI and have been impressed with your story. Very heart felt. I intended no disrespect. You are one of the most inspirational persons I have ever known of. I'm sorry if I am mistaken about someone helping you, I just want you to know that you are perfect in all your writings. I only meant to compliment how far you have come. It's just didn't seem like YOU 100%. Maybe it is because you are trying so hard to be perfect when you already are. Either way, much love to you and I pray for your full recovery dear Juliana.

I am engaged to Chris Medina and am spending the rest of my life recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury. It's been hard but not impossible.  And a lot of good things happened along the way.  Read about them, won't you?
